This article tracks what's new across the enSights.ai platform, portal, and technician app. It's a living document — each new release adds a dated version with the latest features and improvements, so you can always check back here to see what's changed.

Dashboard brings back the classic view — The Dashboard is getting a revamped version of the original layout: top-line stats, map, and a detailed systems table — now organized into PV Systems, Insights, and Service Calls tabs.

New hybrid site dashboard for EMS — Hybrid sites now have a redesigned dashboard with six compact KPI cards (Grid, Site Info, PV, Storage, Profit, and Peak Export Progress), a single customizable power chart, an expanded PV inverters table, per-battery storage cards, a global date picker, and info tooltips on every KPI. This is rolling out gradually, so you may not see it on your account yet.

Save custom graph views — All main graphs — battery, inverters, meters, trackers, sensors, and solar — now include a Views button. Choose the data channels you want to see on a chart, save that combination as a named view, and reload it anytime without reselecting channels.

Manage your saved views — rename, delete, or set one as the default — from the Manage Views panel.

Panel-washing icons on charts — Cleaning events now appear as small icons directly on Analysis performance charts. Hover over an icon to see the wash date, and use the legend toggle to show or hide wash markers — making it easy to correlate cleanings with performance changes.

New report creation experience — Creating a report now starts from a searchable template picker grouped by Performance, Billing, and Operations (or you can start from scratch). Schedules support multiple days of month and current/previous-month targeting, and report setup adds cover-page upload, rich-text editing, and reminders.

BESS Periodic Report (PDF) — A new scheduled, branded PDF report for battery systems covering capacity, energy charged/discharged, cycles, round-trip efficiency, availability vs. guarantee, service calls, and optional revenue, with daily charge/discharge charts. Available in English and Spanish, with scheduling and reminders. The existing PV report has been renamed "PV Periodic Report."

Report folders & navigation — Organize all report types into folders and subfolders, with breadcrumb navigation, bulk move, and bookmarkable folder views. A report can live in multiple folders, and deleting a folder never deletes its reports.

Aggregated Report — more columns, better settings — Report settings now open in a side drawer with a full column picker. Add metadata and tag columns such as Group and Customer, an Expected Production (p50) column per system and in the summary, and a signed, color-coded Actual vs. Expected % (red under, green over expected).

AI executive summaries in periodic PDF reports — AI-generated executive summaries, previously available only for BESS annual reports, can now be added to daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly solar PDF reports, written in the report's language, with review required before scheduled reports are sent.

Cleaner PDF layout — PDF exports now handle page breaks intelligently, so charts and sections are no longer cut awkwardly across pages.

Onboarding Completeness Score — A new Onboarding page lists every PV system, battery, and site with a completeness score, sorted least-complete first. Your overall completeness percentage now appears right in the top ribbon, and clicking Onboarding in the left navigation takes you straight to the full list.

Click any system to see exactly which setup fields are missing, organized by category, and fill them in on the spot. Fields that don't apply to a given system can be excluded so they don't count against its score.

Finalized EMS Site Wizard — Site onboarding has been reworked to be more complete end to end: editing an existing site should now reload all of its previously configured fields, loggers get their own connection settings with a bulk "Configure Inverters" shortcut, and saving pushes the configuration to the site controller automatically. We’ll confirm the exact wizard flow and add more detail once it’s been validated against the live UI.

Saved Views for PV Systems — Name, save, and switch between table views on the PV Systems page — shown as tabs above the table (e.g., "All Systems," "Daily Monitoring," "Quarterly Review"). Columns, sorting, and filters persist per view, so switching between them doesn't reset your setup. Each view has a shareable link, and your team keeps its own set of views separate from other teams. Use "+ New View" to save the current table setup as a new view, and the settings icon to manage existing ones.

Import historical production from CSV — You can now import historical production data (PV energy, meter energy, and irradiance) into a PV system directly from a CSV file, at daily or monthly granularity. The import flow includes a downloadable template, validation, and a review step before anything is overwritten — and your KPIs recalculate automatically once the import completes.

GHI Irradiance in the PV Systems table — A new optional GHI Irradiance column (Wh/m²) is available in the PV Systems table alongside plane-of-array irradiance, including historical values. Enable it from the column picker.

Clearer weather-adjusted values — Systems without weather-adjusted data now show "N/A" with a tooltip explaining why, instead of a misleading 0, and these systems are excluded from fleet averages so portfolio figures stay accurate.

More Systems Per Page - The PV Systems table now supports larger page sizes. You can choose to view 50, 100, 200, or up to 500 systems per page, instead of paging through smaller batches to see your full portfolio.

Group BESS assets — Battery assets can now be organized into groups just like PV systems. A new BESS group type appears alongside your existing groups on the Groups page, giving asset managers a single portfolio view across PV and storage.

Unsaved changes warning — The platform now warns you before losing unsaved work. Closing a form or modal with pending changes prompts a confirmation, consistently across the app.

Processes page — A new Processes page under Global Settings tracks every manually triggered data process — imports, syncs, recalculations, and more — with status, duration, and who ran it. Processes show system names and source tags, and failed runs display the reason.

Per-user portal display settings — Admins can now control exactly which PV Systems columns each Customer Dashboard user sees, with independent per-user settings and privacy-safe map pins when insights are disabled.

Live Status — A new sortable Live Status column shows a color-coded badge (Healthy, Sleeping, No Generation, Faulty, or Offline) derived from each system's open alerts. It gives day-to-day monitoring teams an at-a-glance view of which assets need attention, so you can prioritize where to look first without opening each system individually.

API Error alert — A new alert type distinguishes a monitoring vendor's API failure (credentials, quotas, server errors) from a genuine site communication loss, preventing unnecessary technician dispatches.

Tag management moves to Global Settings — Tags are now administered from Global Settings, and can be applied not just to PV systems but also to BESS assets and Sites, giving you a single place to manage tags across your whole portfolio.

Cash Flow variance and comments — The Cash Flow table now shows a % Variance column comparing expected vs. actual values for every line item, plus a Comments column where you can leave notes explaining a deviation right where it happened. This makes it easy to spot where and why an asset diverged from plan, and to build an investor-ready narrative without rebuilding the table in a spreadsheet.
