Overview

This article walks you through opening a report template, choosing the reporting period, and sending the report by email. It also covers how to set up a recurring report schedule and where to find reports you've already sent.

Open a Report Template

Report templates give you a ready-made layout for your system data. You'll pick a template, then generate a live preview before sending it.

Step 1: In the left sidebar, click Reports, then select Templates. The list of available report templates opens.

Note: Templates that are already scheduled show their recipients and frequency directly in the Recipients and Schedule columns.

Step 2: Click the name of the template you want to run — for example, Aggregated Report. The report opens with a live preview of your current system data.

Choose the Reporting Period

Before sending, confirm the report is showing the date range you actually want to share.

Step 3: Click the Period dropdown in the top right corner of the report. The available intervals are Daily, Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly.

Step 4: Select the interval you want, then use the arrows on either side of the date field to move to the exact day, week, month, or year. The summary and breakdown table refresh automatically to match.

Tip: To spot trends quickly, generate the same report at both Monthly and Yearly periods and compare the Normalized column across the two.

Send the Report

Once the report is showing the right period, you can send it directly to a recipient's inbox.

Step 5: Click Send in the top left of the report page.

Step 6: In the Send Report window, enter the recipient's email address.

Step 7: Click Send to confirm. The window closes, and the report is generated and delivered to that address.

Important: Double-check the reporting period before sending — recipients receive the exact data currently shown on screen.

Schedule a Recurring Report

If you need the same report delivered automatically on a regular basis, set up a schedule instead of sending it manually each time.

Step 8: From the Templates list, click the green + button in the top right corner. The Report Settings panel opens.

Step 9: Enter a Report Name and select a Period from the dropdown.

Step 10: Under System Level Columns, turn on the data columns you want included in the report.

Step 11: Expand Schedule, turn Active on, then set the Timezone, Day of Month, and Hour you want the report generated.

Note: Add one or more email addresses under Recipients so the report is delivered automatically each time it runs.

Step 12: Click Save. The new report appears in the Templates list with Schedule set to Yes.

Find Previously Sent Reports

Every report you send is logged for later reference.

Step 13: In the left sidebar, click Reports, then select Reports Archive.

Step 14: Use the Period selector in the top right to move to the month the report was sent, then locate it by Name, Type, Sent To, or Sent At.
